Driving an Inclusive Economy
With support from key funders, the Get in the Game LA Coalition is actively working to foster an inclusive economy by focusing on four key pillars:
Supplier Hub
The Supplier Hub serves as a platform designed to equip suppliers with the guidance, tools, and resources needed to become contract-ready. Built on a strong foundation of industry expertise, the platform offers structured support, helping suppliers navigate procurement requirements, enhance their capabilities, and position themselves for success in securing contracts.
Procurement Innovation Forums
This initiative convenes private and public sector stakeholders to strengthen the LA County procurement ecosystem. These forums serve as a collaborative space for buyers, business support organizations, and policymakers to share best practices in procurement, explore innovative contracting solutions, and coordinate efforts to drive meaningful impact.
Supplier Finance
The Get in the Game LA Collation is dedicated to enhancing financial accessibility for small and diverse businesses navigating the procurement landscape. By researching and developing flexible financing options, this initiative addresses the financial barriers suppliers often face when fulfilling awarded contracts.
Procurement Matchmaking
The Procurement Matchmaking pillar connects small and diverse suppliers with regional public and private buyers through targeted engagement opportunities, like strategic partnerships and annual procurement fairs such as OneLA Get in the Game Procurement Fair. Programming includes regional buyer procurement forecasts, buyer-supplier matchmaking meetings, and networking sessions to foster relationships.
